New York
Comic Con is the East Coast's biggest and most exciting popular culture
convention. The Show Floor plays host to the latest and greatest in comics,
graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television. The
panel and autograph sessions give fans a chance to interact with their favorite
creators (e.g. Humberto Ramos (Amazing Spider-man, Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman), Ivan
Reis (Justice League), etc.). New York Comic Con is the second largest pop
culture convention in America and the only one that takes place in the comic
book, publishing, media and licensing capital of the world — Gotham City.

New York
Comic-Con looks set to have its biggest year yet, with a slate heavy on popular
TV shows and celebrity appearances. Based in Manhattan’s Javits Center, NYCC
has grown in importance over the last few years. Although it can’t compete with
the San Diego Comic-Con for pure breadth of buzz, NYCC has developed its own
distinctive personality in the last few years.
DC Comics is highly visible this
year. A large screen near the long lines of attendees waiting to enter the
exhibit hall advertised the upcoming "Batman: Arkham Origins" video
game to the captive audience. It comes out on October 25th. Inside is an
impressive exhibit of Superman movie and TV costumes. The exhibit celebrates 75
years of history of the DC Comic's flagship character.
Check out some best-dressed at the event!
They really go all out to dress up eh? Maybe we should do the same for STGCC 2014!
